<p>He doused himself with combustible substance and lit himself on fire, as per authorities. Civilian clothes officers on the scene arrived quickly and extinguished the flames.</p>
<p>SHO of Hazratganj police station Narendra Singh was carried to the civic hospital in a police van, according to Shyam Babu Shukla. He suffered minor burns to his neck, face, and forearms, but he is unharmed.</p>
