										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The West Bengal administration renewed the Covid-19 limitations in the state till July 30 with additional exemptions on Wednesday. Bengal extended existing coronavirus restrictions till 15 July on June 28 in order to halt the transmission of the deadly second wave of the lethal virus.</p>
<p>As part of the current changes, banks throughout the state will now be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The subway rail services will be permitted to run at 50% capacity five days a week.</p>
<p>Intrastate buses will now be able to operate at 50% capacity with immunised drivers. All stores and marketplaces will be open during normal business hours.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday extended Covid-related restrictions in the state till July 15. The chief minister also announced certain relaxations in the new guidelines.</p>
<p>As per the new guidelines, private buses in the state will operate at 50% capacity.</p>
<p>Also, offices have been allowed to open with 50% manpower.</p>
<p>Similarly, salons and gyms are also allowed to function with 50% capacity.</p>
<p>&#8220;Salons, beauty parlours allowed to open from 11am to 6pm with 50% seating capacity provided staff has been vaccinated. Gyms to be allowed with 50% capacity,&#8221; the chief minister said.</p>
<p>Social gatherings such as weddings would be allowed with a maximum of 50 people, Banerjee said, urging people to continue wearing masks and maintaining social distance.</p>
<p>The government also allowed vegetable markets to remain open from 6 am to 12 pm.</p>
<p>The restrictions, imposed on May 16, were last extended till June 30.</p>

<p>Passers would be permitted without electronic registration to ride in taxis, cabs, and auto-rickshaws in Chennai and neighboring areas such as Chengalpattu and Kancheepuram, and Tiruvallur districts. Except for drivers, just 3 passengers would be permitted in taxis and only two in cars.</p>
<p>Food products, vegetables, and meat vendors are open from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. Restaurants and bakeries are only admitted between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. for package food. It would be possible for all e-commerce firms to service clients from 6 am to 9 pm.</p>
