The former secretary of state is in Russia this week to discuss climate change with officials and has called on the country to cooperate with the US on the issue.
Putin said Moscow “attaches great importance” to achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement and “advocates de-politicising” dialogue on climate change.
The comments on a rare point of cooperation between the two countries come after Putin met US President Joe Biden for talks in Geneva last month.

]]>Appointing a resident grievance officer is one of several norms which Twitter and other social media platforms operating in India have to follow under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. On June 27, Twitter’s interim resident grievance officer Dharrmendra Chatur resigned from his post amid differences with the Union government over the IT Rules. The San Francisco-headquartered company then appointed US national Jeremy Kessel as its new resident grievance officer in India, which put it in violation of the new rules.
Earlier, the complaint against Twitter was filed in the Delhi high court on May 28 by Amit Acharya, a practicing advocate at the high court and the Supreme Court. On May 31, a bench of Justice Rekha Palli issued a notice to the social media giant, giving it three weeks to reply, and posted the matter for further hearing on July 6.

He also said that the city should be developed such that generations should feel the desire to visit Ayodhya at least once in their lifetime. The Prime Minister also pointed out that the developmental works in Ayodhya will continue in the foreseeable future, however, “the momentum towards heralding Ayodhya to this next leap of progress must begin now.”
“It is our collective endeavour to celebrate the identity of Ayodhya and keep its cultural vibrancy alive through innovative ways,” he said at the meeting as per the government release.
