Yediyurappa visited Commercial Street as part of a tour of Bengaluru to check the status of construction projects, particularly those undertaken under the Smart City program. <p>Following severe rains across Karnataka, he released a statement saying that he had instructed all district in-charge Ministers and MLAs to assist those impacted by the rainfall.</p>
<p>He stated that Deputy Chief Minister Govind Karjol, who is now in northern Karnataka, has been ordered to keep an eye on things in flood-affected districts until July 25. “We are prepared to confront any circumstance, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi&#8217;s full support,” he added.</p>
