<p>Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid stated that the administration will be established by Islamic principles and that it will not be given the designation of a ministry or sub-division.</p>
<p>The previous government&#8217;s women&#8217;s ministry did nothing to improve the lives of Afghan women. Despite the presence of the ministry, Mujahid added, women in rural Afghanistan were not provided their basic rights.</p>
