<p data-start="1450" data-end="1613">Speaking at his <strong data-start="1466" data-end="1490">first campaign rally</strong> in the state, Modi took a sharp dig at the <strong data-start="1534" data-end="1548">INDIA bloc</strong>, saying it was led by “leaders who are currently out on bail.”</p>

<p data-start="1615" data-end="1933">During the event, Modi asked the crowd to <strong data-start="1657" data-end="1694">light up their mobile flashlights</strong>, symbolizing a move toward modernity. Taking a jab at the <strong data-start="1753" data-end="1783">Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)</strong>, he remarked, “When everyone has access to modern technology, there’s no need for the old lantern anymore,” referring to the RJD’s election symbol.</p>
<p data-start="1935" data-end="2321">The Prime Minister praised <strong data-start="1962" data-end="1991">Nitish Kumar’s leadership</strong>, highlighting that despite facing difficulties during the <strong data-start="2050" data-end="2090">Congress-led UPA government’s tenure</strong>, Nitish remained focused on development. “When he took office in 2005, nearly a decade of his term was affected by a non-cooperative central government, pressured by the RJD not to support Bihar’s NDA administration,” Modi said.</p>
<p data-start="2323" data-end="2702">He emphasized that under the NDA government, <strong data-start="2368" data-end="2410">Bihar has witnessed significant growth</strong>. “In the past eleven years, the state has received three times more central assistance than it did before. Bihar has made remarkable progress — from being dependent on others for basic needs to now exporting fish and expanding its makhana trade across the country and abroad,” Modi stated.</p>
<p data-start="2704" data-end="2971">Calling Bihar an <strong data-start="2721" data-end="2756">emerging investment destination</strong>, Modi envisioned a future driven by youth innovation. “I see every district of Bihar becoming a hub of startups led by young entrepreneurs,” he added, expressing optimism about the state’s development trajectory.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">At present, there are 14 ministers in Bihar government regarding Nitish Kumar, out of which 7 are from BJP, 5 from Janata Dal United, 1 from Hindustani Awam Morcha and 1 from Vikas Insaan Party.  The number of vacant ministerial posts in the Bihar government is 22 at this time.<br> Chief Minister Nitish Kumar can expand his cabinet in the next 1 to 2 days.  According to the 243 seats in the assembly, a total of 36 ministers can be made in the Bihar government.  According to sources, the matter has been resolved regarding the ministerial division between BJP and Janata Dal United.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">At present, there are 14 ministers in Bihar government regarding Nitish Kumar, out of which 7 are from BJP, 5 from Janata Dal United, 1 from Hindustani Awam Morcha and 1 from Vikas Insaan Party.  The number of vacant ministerial posts in the Bihar government is 22 at this time.  Nitish Kumar was constantly demanding that the vacant ministerial seat should be divided on the 50:50 formula and it seems that Nitish Kumar has been successful in putting pressure on the BJP.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">According to information from sources, the vacancy of the ministerial post has been done on a 50:50 formula between BJP and Janata Dal United.  It is believed that when Nitish&#8217;s cabinet gets expanded, then 11 ministers will be from BJP quota and the remaining 11 from Janata Dal United quota.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If on this basis, there is a ministerial division between the BJP and Janata Dal United, then there will be a total of 18 ministers from the BJP quota, 16 ministers from the Janata Dal United quota, one from the Hindustani Awam Morcha and one from the developing Insan Party.<br>
Shahnawaz Hussain, a senior party leader and national spokesperson from the BJP quota, is almost certain to become a minister in the Nitish government.  Shahnawaz Hussain had filed his nomination for Bihar Legislative Council by-election 2 days ago and no one had filed nomination against him and in such a situation he has become unopposed MLC.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">MLC Samrat Chaudhary from BJP quota and Sanjeev Chaurasia, MLA from Digha are also in the race to become ministers.  There is also talk of BJP MLA Rana Randhir from Madhuban and BJP MLA Pramod Kumar from Motihari.  MLA Krishna Kumar Rishi from Banmankhi and Sanjay Kumar Singh from Lalganj can also become ministers.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Former minister from BJP quota and Nitish Mishra, MLA from Jhanjharpur and Sanjay Saraogi, MLA from Darbhanga can also become ministers.  Ramnagar MLA Bhagirathi Devi from BJP quota and Rampravesh Rai, MLA from Barauli can also be made ministers.<br>
It is almost certain to make Nalanda MLA and former minister Shravan Kumar a minister.  Shravan Kumar is a Kurmi from the caste.  Former minister Rajput quota and MLA from Dhamdaha Lacey Singh and independent MLA from Chakai Sumit Singh are likely to become ministers.  Either of the two can be made a minister.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The names that are being discussed with Kushwaha quota include Amarpur MLA Jayant Raj and Harlakhi MLA Sudhanshu Shekhar.  MLC Kumud Verma may also find a place in the Nitish cabinet.  There is talk of making Parbatta MLA Sanjeev Singh from Bhumihar quota and Shalini Mishra, MLA from Kesariya.  Former minister Neeraj Kumar can also be made a minister from Bhumihar quota.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Bahadurpur MLA and former minister Madan Sahni and MLA from Rupauli and former minister Bima Bharti can get a place in Nitish&#8217;s cabinet from the extremely backward quota.  Former minister and MLA from Jhajha Damodar Rawat may also get a ministerial post.  Former IPS officer from Dalit quota and Sunil Kumar, MLA from Bhore, can be made a minister.</p>
