Rane was detained by the Ratnagiri police after all legal alternatives had been exhausted, according to District Magistrate B N Patil.</p>
<p>The arrest was made by a Nashik municipal police team that had gone out early this morning to make the arrest. In Nashik, Pune, and Mahad, three FIRs have been filed against Narayan Rane.</p>
