<p>According to sources, the missile flew for 150 kilometers using an indigenous cruise engine. More tests will be carried out in the near future.</p>
<p>On July 23, an indigenously produced New Generation Akash Missile (Akash-NG), a Surface to Air Missile defense system, was successfully test-fired at Balasore. The 30km strike-range air defense missile systems were tested for the second time in two days.</p>
