The pilots were purportedly caught on April 9 using inappropriate language on the 121.5 MHz frequency, which is solely used for emergency preparedness for planes in difficulty.</p>
<p>In this case, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has opened an investigation. According to the sources, IndiGo has yet to release a remark on the matter. IndiGo has dismissed several pilots who were organizing a strike on April 5 to protest wage cutbacks imposed during the COVID-19 epidemic only days before the event.</p>
