Farmers demonstrating in Karnal were beaten up by Haryana Police on Saturday, with several people hurt in a lathi charge near the Bastara Toll Plaza on the national highway.</p>
<p>Farmers were protesting against a BJP conference on the approaching panchayat elections, which was headed by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. In the afternoon, police detained many people after using force to remove a gathering obstructing the roadway in Karnal.</p>
<p>Farm union representatives condemned the police action and asked farmers across Haryana to demonstrate on the highways. Farmers had blocked many stretches of roadway and toll plazas around the state by the evening, causing traffic jams.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A group of Australian scientists are looking to halt the harmful effects of heart attack by using the venom of one of the world’s deadliest spiders. The researchers have developed a drug candidate from a molecule found in the venom of the Fraser Island funnel-web spider to stop the “death signal” sent by the heart that leads to cardiac arrest.</p>
<p>The development of experimental medicine, which has only been tested in the lab so far, has been led by Dr Nathan Palpant and Professor Glenn King from The University of Queensland and Professor Peter Macdonald from the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute. Explaining the ‘death signal’, Dr Palpant said that the heart attack causes a reduction in blood flow to the heart which subsequently results in a lack of oxygen to the heart muscle.</p>
<p>The lack of oxygen causes the cell environment to become acidic, which combine to send a message for heart cells to die,” Dr Palpant said in a statement published by the University of Queensland, adding that the scientists have not been able to develop a drug that stops the death signal despite decades of research.</p>
<p>The team has successfully tested a protein from spider venom, called Hi1a, on beating human heart cells exposed to heart attack stresses to see if the drug improved their survival. According to the study, the protein blocks acid-sensing ion channels in the heart, reducing cell deaths and improving the survival of heart cells.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In the case of Ward Boy&#8217;s death after applying the Corona vaccine in Moradabad, the Chief Medical Officer of the hospital has said that the cause of death is heart attack.  48-year-old Ward Boy Mahipal&#8217;s corona vaccine posted at Moradabad District Hospital deteriorated after taking the vaccine, after which he was taken to the hospital, but his life could not be saved.In the case of Ward Boy&#8217;s death after applying the Corona vaccine in Moradabad, the Chief Medical Officer of the hospital has said that the cause of death is heart attack.  </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Please tell that on January 16, Ward Boy Mahipal was vaccinated with Corona.  His health deteriorated on Sunday evening.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Mahipal&#8217;s family says that he was taken to the hospital after seeing the deteriorating health, but doctors declared him dead.  The CMO of the district hospital told Aaj Tak on Sunday that no reaction to the vaccine is known, the cause of his death is being investigated.  He said that Mahipal was not infected with Corona earlier.</p>
