<p class="wp-block-paragraph"> New Delhi: In the national capital of the country, lawyers from the Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal demanded to reserve beds in the hospital for judges, lawyers and court staff, in the national capital of the country due to Coronavirus.  </p>

<div><br /> Dwarka Court Bar Association wrote in a letter to CM Arvind Kejriwal that the judges, court staff and their family are facing many problems in getting admission in the hospital, in which case the government reserves the bed for them.  </div>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Many lawyers, judges, court staff and their family corona have been infected.  There is also no government hospital around Dwarka sub-city and the population here is more than 12 lakhs.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"> Bar Association president YP Singh suggested that the recently built Indira Gandhi Government Hospital has 17 thousand beds.  It should be opened to the public and beds should be reserved for the court staff.<br /> YP Singh further said that at least 500 beds should be reserved for lawyers.  Apart from this, 50 beds should be reserved for the judges and their families and 100 beds for the court staff. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"> Let us know that apart from the CM of Delhi, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan has also been sent.<br /> It is further written in the letter that the CM of Delhi should consider the Bar Association&#8217;s demand to reserve beds as the situation in Corona&#8217;s Second Wave is becoming increasingly worse.  In Delhi alone, more than 20 thousand cases of corona are coming up every day.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"> Significantly, the Kejriwal government had last week converted 100 rooms of Delhi&#8217;s Ashoka Hotel into a covid Health facility and reserved all these rooms for the judges, judicial officers and their families of Delhi High Court.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">  The Delhi High Court reprimanded the Kejriwal government on this.  The High Court had said that they had never made any such demand from the Delhi government.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&#8220;The world has not seen any data on Phase 1 or 2 clinical trials conducted by Moscow-based Gamaleya Research Institute&#8221;, the Executive Chairperson of Bengaluru-headquartered Biocon Ltd said. &#8220;If launching a vaccine prior to completion of Phase 3 trials is acceptable to Russia, well so be it,&#8221; Mazumdar-Shaw told <em>PTI</em>. &#8220;But it doesn&#8217;t make them the world&#8217;s first vaccine as several other vaccine programmes are even more advanced,&#8221; she added.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Russia announced on Tuesday it had become the first country to grant regulatory approval to a COVID-19 vaccine. The first dose of the vaccine-Sputnik-V, developed by the Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology of the Russian Healthcare Ministry, was administered to Russian President Vladimir Putin&#8217;s daughter. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Phase 3 clinical trials of the Russian COVID-19 vaccine will be held in the Philippines from October to March, Philippine presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said on Thursday. The spokesperson added, as cited by the Inquirer newspaper, that the Russian government would fund the trials, which usually envisage vaccinating thousands of patients to test its efficiency and safety. Phase 3 trials would be carried out by Russia and the Philippines during the same period, according to Roque.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><br>The spokesperson said that Manila expects the Philippines&#8217; Food and Drug Administration to approve the Russian-made vaccine by April 2021.The vaccine, developed by the Gamaleya Research institute, was named Sputnik V and registered on Tuesday. Russian President Vladimir Putin endorsed the vaccine, saying it has passed all necessary checks.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><br>Manila was one of the first to express interest in Sputnik V and readiness to cooperate with Moscow on clinical trials and production, while Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has even volunteered to take the inoculation in public. &#8212; ANI </p>

On Tuesday, the Russian Health Ministry registered the first coronavirus vaccine in the world. <p class="wp-block-paragraph"><br>&#8220;Within two weeks, the first batch of the vaccine will be released,&#8221; Murashko said at a press conference. &#8220;The vaccination will be voluntary anyway. Some of those doctors who already have immunity against the coronavirus, there are around 20 per cent, &#8230; think they do not need vaccination, it will be up to them to decide,&#8221; Murashko assured.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><br>&#8220;While covering Russians&#8217; needs is a priority, the vaccine could also be exported abroad. The vaccine certainly has some export potential, and we will certainly offer it [to foreign countries], but the domestic market needs are our priority,&#8221; Murashko said. </p>
