<p class="wp-block-paragraph"> FIR has been registered in the Amethi district under the Pandemic Act for tweeting the need for oxygen for his 88-year-old maternal grandfather.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The young man Shashank Yadav tagged Bollywood actor Sonu Sood with his Twitter handle on the night of 26 April in a tweet saying, &#8220;Oxygen cylinders are needed at the earliest.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><br>&nbsp;After seeing Shashank&#8217;s tweet, regional BJP MP and Union Minister Smriti Irani said in a tweet made on April 27, &#8220;I called Shashank thrice but the phone did not pick up.&#8221;&nbsp; I have asked the District Magistrate and Amethi Police to help the needy person.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><br> Amethi Superintendent of Police Dinesh Singh said, &#8220;Shashank had asked to provide oxygen for his maternal grandfather , although he did not write in the tweet that his maternal grandfather covid-  19 are infected or not.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><br>&nbsp;Singh said, &#8220;When Shashank&#8217;s mobile number was called, he did not pick up the phone.&nbsp; We thought that he might be in trouble, so he is not picking up the phone.&nbsp; After that we used surveillance and after finding out Shashank&#8217;s presence we reached his house.&nbsp; Where he was sleeping.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><br> The Superintendent of Police claimed that Shashank&#8217;s house was 20 km from his maternal grandfather&#8217;s house and that he had gone there for barely five minutes after which He  tweeted that.  It is evident that Shashank&#8217;s motive was to spread sensation and fear by tweeting.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><br> He said that a case has been registered against Shashank under the relevant sections of the Epidemic Act and he has been given a warning under section 41 of the Criminal Procedure Code after serving the notice. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"> Meanwhile, the district&#8217;s chief medical officer, Dr Ashutosh Dubey, said that Shashank&#8217;s maternal grandfather had not been tested for covid-19 and was undergoing treatment in a private hospital.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>He was also not taken to the nearby Ramganj or Community Health Center in Bhadar.&nbsp; The Chief Medical Officer said that the claim of Shashank&#8217;s maternal grandfather&#8217;s death due to lack of oxygen is also not correct.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><br> Amethi police said in one of its tweets, &#8220;Neither the patient was infected with covid-19 nor he need oxygen.  He died of a heart attack on 26 April.  The kind of tweet that Shashank tweeted is not only condemnable but also punishable.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"> The Indian Air Force has written to the Central Board of Film Certification complaining against its &#8220;undue negative portrayal&#8221; in the movie Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl&#8217;, which is scheduled for a release on Netflix today.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Air Force in its letter to the censor board, and sent to Netflix and Dharma Productions, has stated that as per initial understanding, &#8220;Dharma Productions had agreed to represent Indian Air Force with authenticity and make all efforts to ensure that the film helps to inspire the next generation of IAF officers.&nbsp;&#8220;However, when the trailer of the movie was released recently, it was observed that &#8220;certain scenes and dialogues in the movie and its trailer, which was forwarded to this office for viewing, have been found to portray the IAF in an undue negative light.&#8221;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The letter written by the IAF and accessed by ANI, read &#8220;In the aim to glorify the screen character of &#8216;Ex-Fit Lt Gunjan Saxena&#8217;, M/s Dharma Productions presented some situations that are misleading and portray an inappropriate work culture especially against women in the IAF.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&#8220;The story of the Dharma Productions movie is based on the first Indian Air Force woman pilot who was part of the 1999 Kargil conflict.<br>Saxena, who is one of the first female pilots to fly in combat, played an important role in rescuing injured soldiers during the Kargil War in 1999 and was awarded the gallantry Shaurya Vir Award for displaying courage during the war.In the communication, the Air Force said that as a service, it has ensured &#8220;that the organisation is gender neutral and has always provided an equal opportunity to both male and women personnel.&#8221;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">IAF has also annexed the summary of the scenes and dialogues of the script, which are considered objectionable due to the presentation of incorrect gender bias with the letter.
