<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp;If someone is not getting a bed, then some patient is getting lack of oxygen.&nbsp; In the midst of all this, assembly elections are also going on in West Bengal.&nbsp; During the elections, records of Corona have started coming up in Bengal.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The condition of Kolkata, the state capital, has become worse.&nbsp; Here, one out of every two people who are undergoing RT-PCR examination of Corona is found to be positive.&nbsp; At the same time, when it comes to the state level, the corona report of one in four people is coming out positive.&nbsp;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp;This number is five times higher than the previous month.&nbsp; A month ago, only one person&#8217;s report was found positive in 20 Corona investigations.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;According to the Times of India report, a doctor from the lab who performed the RT-PCR test says, &#8220;Labs in Kolkata and its surrounding areas, which are being tested by Corona, have a positive rate of 45-55% in their tests.&#8221;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;At the same time, in other cities of the state, this level is around 24 per cent.&nbsp; It was only five per cent a month ago. ”The senior doctor further said that the positivity rate is actually much higher.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There are many people who have mild or no symptoms at all and are infected with corona, but they have not yet been tested.&nbsp; We are not investigating according to need.&nbsp; We should not back down from Corona&#8217;s investigation at this time.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp;Corona testing of 25,766 people took place in Bengal on April 1, in which only 1274 people were found positive.&nbsp; This positivity rate was 4.9 percent.&nbsp; 55,060 people were screened on Saturday, of which a record 14,281 people were found positive.<br>&nbsp; This rate is 25.9 percent.&nbsp; Microbiologist Bhaskar Narayan Chaudhary of Peerless Hospital said that the reason behind the rapid infection is mutant virus, which is infecting more and more people in a very short time.&nbsp;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp;Another reason is that among those who have symptoms, only a few people are going to get corona examined.<br>&nbsp;Positiveness rate rises to 55 percent&nbsp;At the same time, the chairman of another hospital said that the positivity rate in our lab has increased to 50%.&nbsp; The pressure on testing samples is very high.&nbsp; But it is good that people are coming forward to get testing done.&nbsp;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp;The sooner we can find corona infects and isolate them, the better it will be for us.&nbsp; Another official also said that the positivity rate in his lab has gone up to 55 per cent.&nbsp; Explain that the total number of infected people has increased to 7,28,061 in West Bengal on&nbsp;<br>Saturday after the maximum number of 14,281 cases of corona virus infection were reported in a single day.&nbsp; After the death of 59 more patients due to infection, the total number of dead has gone up to 10,884.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp;Assembly elections are going on in West Bengal these days.&nbsp; The Election Commission is conducting elections in eight phases this time.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;Voting for the seventh phase will be held on 36 seats tomorrow (Monday).&nbsp; During the West Bengal assembly elections, the leaders of various parties kept organizing rallies continuously.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp; Although a large number of general public also demanded cancellation of the election rallies, the Election Commission and leaders of parties took decisions on it after more than half the phase of voting had passed.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>On Thursday, seven days before the last phase, the Election Commission has banned road shows and vehicle rallies in West Bengal with immediate effect.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp; Along with the ban, the Election Commission also said that many political party candidates are not following the safety norms in public events.&nbsp; The Election Commission has allowed a maximum of 500 people to attend the election.&nbsp;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp;The Commission&#8217;s decision came a few days ago when the Calcutta High Court expressed its displeasure with the Election Commission over the implementation of the anti-covid-19 rules during the election process.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The second wave of corona is rapidly making people their prey.  In the beginning of February this year, people started taking this epidemic lightly as the number of new cases had decreased daily.  All were breathing a sigh of relief.  The number of active cases was very less.  Then, suddenly a second wave of corona began to spread. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp;Looking at the current situation, it can also be said that as a country we may not have learned much from the experience of the last one year.&nbsp; Had it been learned, such an odd situation would not have arisen today.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">People stopped following rescue measures after the first wave weakened in the country.&nbsp; This is also the biggest reason for the second wave.&nbsp; The government started opening everything up.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>This made things the same as before Corona.&nbsp; People stopped taking precautions.&nbsp; Due to this, a large part of the population began to fall prey to this disease.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">States also delayed curbing people due to which the health system continued to collapse due to increasing cases of infection.&nbsp; In such a situation, once again the government had to implement lockdown in many places, which is causing even more damage to the economy.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp;Negligence towards rescue measures started at the central government level.&nbsp; Then all political groups and common people started careless.&nbsp; Schools and colleges began to open up without the entire staff being vaccinated.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Restrictions should have been strictly enforced wherever there were cases of infection, but no political party wanted to do so because of the election.  </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The plan to hold elections during the corona epidemic should also have been planned carefully.  However, this did not happen.  Here, Kumbh was organized in Uttarakhand, due to which the corona exploded.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><br>  The time has come for us to learn a lesson from this period.  Unite as an individual and as a society, come forward to protect humanity.  </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Just like the last time every person from the voluntary organizations of the country to the street mohallas and villages had become a warrior, this time too, the same spirit will have to be brought to defeat Corona.&nbsp; Only then will we be able to win the battle against Corona.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp; Scientists believe that the new variants of Corona, negligence against epidemic prevention measures, elections, religious events and ceremonies are the main causes of the second wave.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"> With the arrival of 3 lakh 49 thousand 691 new cases of corona virus infection in India in a day, the total cases of covid-19 increased to 1 crore 69 lakh 60 thousand 172. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><br> Experts say that the second wave is more powerful than the first.  Experts say many things are responsible for the second wave of Corona.  These include things like not following the covid-19 protocol, low interest in getting vaccinated and sluggish pace of vaccination.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Hemant Biswa Sarma, the BJP&#8217;s leader in Assam and the most powerful minister in the government, has received a major relief from the Election Commission.  The Election Commission on Saturday reduced the 48-hour ban imposed on Sarma&#8217;s campaigning to 24 hours.  The Election Commission&#8217;s panel has taken this decision after Hemant Biswa Sarma&#8217;s assurance of fully complying with the provisions of the Model Code.<br> In the case of objectionable comments against BPF President Hagrama Mohilary on Hemant Biswa Sarma, the Election Commission had imposed a 48-hour ban on his election campaign on Friday.  The Election Commission said in its order that &#8220;the Commission strongly condemns the statements of Himanta Biswa Sarma.&#8221;  The Commission prohibits any of their public meetings, holding public processions, holding rallies, roadshows, giving interviews and making public statements in the media for 48 hours with immediate effect on April 2 (Friday).<br> What did Sarma say? Sarma had said that if Mohilari promotes insurgency with rebel leader M Batha, he will be sent to jail through the Central Investigation Agency NIA.  The Bodoland People&#8217;s Front is an ally of the Congress in Assam.  Earlier this party was with BJP.  Following this statement of Sarma, the opposition parties became aggressive and demanded the Election Commission to take action against Sarma.<br> Third and last phase voting 6 April Assam has two-phase polling, while the third and last phase of polling will be held on April 6 for 40 seats.  In the first phase elections, on March 27, about 79.97 percent of the voters exercised their franchise in 47 seats, while in the second phase on Thursday, 39 seats were voted.  The results will come on 2 May.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Raising the pitch of high-voltage campaigning for Assembly elections in Assam, Union home minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Amit Shah will on Wednesday address three public rallies in the state, where the second phase of campaigning freshly concluded a day earlier.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The ruling BJP &#8211; seeking to return to power &#8211; has rushed a battery of leaders from across the country to campaign intensely in Assam and other poll-bound states. Apart from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, senior BJP leaders including Union ministers Smriti Irani, Jitendra Singh, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath and Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan are among those who have campaigned in Assam. Senior state BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma also extensively campaigned in the state.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The key players including the ruling NDA, Congress-led Mahajath have made hard efforts to woo voters on 39 seats that will go to the polls on April 1.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The second phase of elections will decide the fate of 345 candidates in 39 seats across 13 districts (of the total 126), where over 7.3 million voters will exercise their franchise. In the first phase, polling took place in 47 seats in 12 districts on March 27. In the third and final phase, 40 seats will go to polls on April 6.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Prominent candidates in the second phase include Parimal Suklabaidya (Dholai), Pijush Hazarika (Jagiroad), Bhabesh Kalita (Rangia), all ministers in the state’s Bharatiya Janata Party-led government, and the assembly deputy speaker Aminul Haque Laskar (Sonai).</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The main contest is seen to be between the alliances led by BJP and Congress.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The BJP-led led alliance also includes the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) and United People&#8217;s Party Liberal (UPPL).</p>
