<p>The Railways has been running only special trains since the coronavirus-induced closure was lifted. Long-distance trains were the first, but now even short-distance passenger services are being run as special trains with &#8220;slightly higher prices&#8221; to &#8220;discourage people from unnecessary travels.&#8221; The Railway Board said in a letter to the zonal railroads on Friday that trains will now be operated with their usual numbers and tariffs will return to pre-Covid levels. Special trains and holiday special trains have slightly higher ticket pricing.</p>
