New Delhi:

A temporary 500-ICU bed facility has been set up at Delhi’s iconic Ram Leela Maidan to help accommodate critically ill Covid patients hit hard by the virulent second wave of infections. The massive facility was set up in just 15 days, said Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Starting Saturday, the hospital will be functional with 250 beds; the rest will be operational two days later, said Mr Kejriwal after visiting the facility today.

“I salute our docs, engineers and workers who worked round the clock on war footing and constructed these 500 ICU beds in just 15 days at Ramlila maidan opp LNJP hospital. 250 ICU beds start tomo and 250 in next two days.

The city recorded 8,500 fresh COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, the first time the figure has dipped below 10,000 since April 10. The city’s test positivity rate has also dipped to 12 per cent, Mr Kejriwal said during a digital press conference.

Around 3,000 beds have cleared up in the past 10 days, he said, indicating that the second wave was easing in the city.

He said, however, that the number of patients in critical condition remains considerable because the ICU beds have not been freed up much.

A new wave of Corona virus has caused outcry in the country.  On this issue, a hearing was held in the Madras High Court on Monday.

The High Court has held the Election Commission responsible for the second wave of Corona, because the Election Commission did not stop the election rallies even after the Corona crisis.

Madras High Court Chief Justice S.  Banerjee said during the hearing that the Election Commission is responsible for the second wave of Corona.  The court said that if the murder charge is imposed on the Election Commission officials, it will not be wrong.
In court, when the Election Commission responded that the covid guidelines were followed on their behalf, the rules were followed on voting day.
The court was angry at this and asked if the Election Commission was on the second plane when the campaign was going on.
The court gave a stringent warning The court has also warned that if the guidelines related to covid are not followed on May 2 and its blueprint is not prepared, then it will ban the counting of votes.

The court said during the hearing that the issue of health is very important, but the matter of concern is that the court has to remind it.  This time the situation has become such that one has to struggle to stay alive.

The High Court has now directed the Election Commission that it should make a plan with the Health Secretary and prepare for the counting day.  The High Court has asked to make a plan by April 30.

Corona’s havoc escalated between elections, let us tell you that elections have been held in five states of the country during the Corona period itself.

Elections have ended in four states, while voting is still going on in Bengal.  After the end of voting in the electoral states, many restrictions have been imposed due to the increase in the corona cases.
If we talk about the whole country, then every day around three and a half lakh cases are coming in the country.

Whereas the situation has now become uncontrollable.  From Delhi to major cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, Lucknow and Kolkata, there is a shortage of beds, lack of oxygen and the condition of patients is poor.

New Delhi: To curb the growing cases of coronavirus, the Delhi government imposed a 6-day lockdown, which began at 10 pm on April 19.  The duration of this lockdown is scheduled to end at 5 am on Monday, so Sunday is today the last day of the lockdown.  Let me tell you that the possibility of extending the lockdown seems more likely, given the rapid pace of coronavirus cases and the way in which all the arrangements are falling in front of it.
A Delhi government source said, “The short-term lockdown was aimed at controlling the number of cases as well as gaining time to strengthen the health infrastructure.”  However, the situation has gone from bad to worse. In such a situation, extending the lockdown for another week is a possible option. ”
In the local circle survey, 68% people said to increase the lockdown by one week, while most of the business organizations of Delhi are also in favor of increasing the lockdown.  In the kind of situation that is going on, the Delhi government is also now trying in some way to somehow reduce the load of patients and improve the situation, but there is a possibility that if the lockdown is over,  So the people will once again come out and the infection will spread rapidly and the system in hospitals will further deteriorate.
At the same time, let us tell you that due to the rapid situation in Delhi and the number of corona infected patients is increasing, the Health Department has given up.  According to sources in the health department, patients are not able to get a place in the hospital due to lack of adequate resources.  As compared to the demand in Delhi, very little oxygen is being available, due to which the death toll of patients is increasing, so a few days more lockdown can be tried to control it.

The crisis of medical oxygen continues to deepen in the national capital Delhi amid rising cases of corona virus.  Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has written a letter to the Chief Ministers of all the states of the country seeking cooperation for oxygen.

CM Kejriwal of Delhi said in the letter that ‘Medical oxygen is not produced in Delhi and there is no medical oxygen factory here, so do whatever you can to support it.’
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal wrote a letter to his counterparts from other states requesting supply of oxygen.
In the letter, Kejriwal said, “The central government is helping us, but the outbreak of covid-19 is such that all the resources being provided are falling short.”
Kejriwal government released Rs 52.88 crore for construction workers, more than 1 lakh workers got benefits
There is an outcry in Delhi hospitals regarding oxygen supply.  There is a lot of pressure on hospitals where small and big hospitals are running out of limited supplies for the next few hours.  Disappointing scenes are also seen outside hospitals, where queues of ambulances, troubled relatives are pleading to recruit patients, patients are breathing and hospitals trying to deal with emergency situations standing at their door  Have been.
Hospital in Delhi forced to use protected storage of oxygen
In the midst of a deepening crisis over the lack of oxygen in Delhi, many hospitals have no option but to use protected back-up storage.  Some hospitals like Saroj Super Specialty are advising relatives of patients to take patients to another hospital.  Forti’s Hospital (Shalimar Bagh) is currently running on a protected oxygen supply and has urged the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister of Delhi and other ministers to provide ‘immediate help’.
Saroj Super Specialty Hospital has not been supplied oxygen for the last 44 hours and is now advising relatives of the patients to take them to another hospital.  PK Bhardwaj, Medical Director of Saroj Super Specialty Hospital, said, “We are running out of oxygen and using our back-ups.  We have informed the patients about the situation and are advising them to be admitted to other hospitals.  Things are really very unstable. “
Bhardwaj said that the hospital needs an average of three metric tons of oxygen per day and has been getting around one metric ton of oxygen for the last few days.  The hospital currently has 70 patients on oxygen.

Officials said that 20 extremely sick patients died overnight in Jaipur Golden Hospital in Delhi amid an oxygen crisis.  There are about 200 patients admitted to the hospital and they had only half an hour of oxygen left at 10.45 am.
The situation is also similar in Forti’s Hospital of Shalimar Bagh and work is being carried out here with protected oxygen supply and waiting for oxygen supply from morning.  The hospital tweeted that oxygen was running out at Forties Hospital in Shalimar Bagh and patients’ lives were in danger.

The hospital said in the tweet, “We are using conserved oxygen and are waiting for its supply since morning.”  We are currently prohibiting the recruitment of patients.  Immediately there is a request for help. ”  He has tagged this tweet to the Prime Minister’s Office, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.
The hospital said that it is keeping patients and the stakeholders aware of the ‘critical situation’ and is trying to manage the admitted patients to the best of their ability.  Other hospitals receiving new supplies claim that their oxygen storage will end in a few hours.

Batra Hospital located in Tughlakabad Institutional Area received an emergency supply of oxygen by the Delhi government within minutes of the oxygen exhaustion.  He has said that his storage will last for one and a half hours.
The hospital’s executive director, Sudhanshu Venkat, said that the hospital had run out of oxygen at around 9 am.  He told, “Just now, emergency supply of oxygen has been provided to us by the Delhi government.  It will last for about one and a half hours.  Our supplier is not answering the phone. “There are about 350 patients admitted to the hospital of which 265 are suffering from Corona virus and 30 are in ICU.

Officials said the Sir Gangaram Hospital in central Delhi requires at least 11,000 cubic meters of oxygen per day.  When 1.5 tons of oxygen reached the hospital, it had 200 cubic meters of oxygen left.  An official said, “This 1.5 tonne supply can be finished in two hours.”  The situation is very serious. “

In Corona Country: A record 3.32 lakh new patients were found in 24 hours, this figure crossed 3 lakh for the second consecutive day. the relief is also good 1.92 lakhs

Two very bad and one good news for all of us.  The pace of Corona in the country is not taking a name.  New records of statistics are being made every day.

Within the last 24 hours, the highest number of new patients has been found so far.  During this period, 3 lakh 32 thousand 320 people have been found positive.

This is the second consecutive day when more than three lakh patients have been identified in the country within a day.  Earlier on Wednesday, 3.15 lakh people were found infected.
The second concern is that the number of deaths is also increasing.  On Thursday, 2,256 patients died within a day.  This is the highest number of people who died within one day from Corona.

Earlier there were 2,101 deaths on Wednesday and 2,021 on Tuesday.  In this case, India has now reached number one in the world.  Meaning we are having more deaths than other countries of the world.  Brazil is now at number two.

Relief between two bad news is that the pace of recovery of corona patients in the country is also increasing continuously.  A record 1 lakh 98 thousand 180 people got cured in one day on Thursday.  This is the highest number of people who have recovered since last year.

Earlier on Wednesday, 1.92 lakh people were recovered.
In the country, the number of active cases i.e. patients who are being treated, will cross 25 lakh today.  The number of such patients has increased by a record 1 lakh 37 thousand 671 in the last 24 hours.

Earlier on Wednesday, the maximum increase of 1.34 lakh active cases was reported within a day.  Now the number of such patients in the country has increased to 24 lakh 22 thousand 80.

India is facing a second wave of Corona these days.  There is a state of outcry in the whole country.

Some time ago the same situation was there in the rest of the developed countries of the world.  For example, in countries like Britain, Spain, America, Israel, Italy, the speed of Corona was as fast as it is in India today.  In these countries too, the medical infrastructure was reduced.

There was a crisis of beds, oxygen, ventilators, PPE kits, but now the situation in these countries has completely changed.  The only reason for this is vaccination.

Experts around the world also believe that maximum vaccination can prevent corona.  We got positive results of vaccination in 6 countries of the world.  We will introduce you to the situation of such countries.  We will tell you what was the situation here and how the situation changed after large-scale vaccination …?

The photo is from the UK.  Here, people are being vaccinated on the middle road as well under vaccination drive.

The UK is the biggest example of a positive result of vaccination.  The vaccination drive started here from December 8 last year.  Then every day 60 to 70 thousand new corona were found infected all over the country.  Beds were reduced in hospitals.

There were 1000-1200 deaths every day, but as the vaccination intensified, the situation started changing.  Since February, the number of infected people has been steadily decreasing.
Now every day only one to two thousand people are getting infected, while 15 to 20 deaths are happening.  Almost all restrictions across the country have been lifted.  Schools and colleges have opened up as before.

The photo is of Israel.  Here, the imperative for people to wear masks has been abolished.  There has also been a steady decline in the case of infection.

The imperative of wearing masks has now been discontinued in Israel.  Meaning people are walking around without a mask.  School-college, business has reopened.  Markets are opening, tourists are coming.  Meaning Israel has almost beaten Corona.

All this has been possible, because 61% of the population has been vaccinated here so far.  It aims to cross 90% within the next two to three months.  Earlier, 10 to 11 thousand people were found infected here.  Hardly 100 people are now being infected, while one or two deaths are occurring every day.

The photo is from New York State, USA.  Vaccination is taking place on a large scale here.  This has led to a decrease in corona cases.
The conditions that are present in India, some were in America from September to January.  Between 1 and 3.07 lakh corona were getting infected every day.  During this time, the election of the US President was also held.  Just as uncontrollable crowds used to gather at the rallies of leaders in India, so did the uncontrollable crowd.  Most people did not wear masks.

Everyday between 2 and 6 thousand people were dying, but the whole country did not give up.  Vaccination occurred rapidly.  Now the situation is that 39.56% of the population here has been vaccinated.  This has resulted in an 80% drop in the rate of infection.  Earlier, where 1-3 lakh patients were found every day, now 50-60 thousand patients are being found.

India is severely battling the Corona virus crisis and meanwhile a major accident took place in Nashik, Maharashtra on Wednesday.

In Nashik, 24 patients have died after the Oxygen Leak at Dr. Zakir Hussain Hospital, while many people are said to be in critical condition.  During this time, the people present in the hospital have told about the scary events during the oxygen supply stop.
23-year-old Vicky Jadhav said that after the supply of oxygen was stopped, there was a scary situation inside the hospital.
During this time, many people started running away from the bed of dead patients with oxygen cylinders (Oxygen Cylinder) to save their families.
Vicky Jadhav said that his 65-year-old grandmother Sugandh Thorat also died in the oxygen leak incident in the hospital.

He said, ‘When I reached the hospital on Thursday afternoon, my grandmother was breathing, but in a short time the gas leaked and there was an atmosphere of chaos in the hospital premises.’

Vicky Jadhav said, ‘It was painful to see people dying in front of their eyes in less than an hour and in the meantime, many people were putting oxygen cylinders of the dead in their patients’ bodies to save the lives of their families.  When I saw people doing this, I also arranged for oxygen for grandmother, but before that grandmother’s breath had stopped.
