										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Covid test samples would be collected more aggressively in the OPDs of hospitals in Lucknow starting on Monday. 8 am-2 pm: The crews will be at Balrampur, Civil, and Lok Bandhu Hospitals as well as Rani Laxmi Bai, Jhalkaribai, and Dufferin Hospitals for Women.</p>
<p>SARI (severe acute respiratory syndrome) will be detected by quick response teams armed with RT-PCR and antigen testing kits, and all such individuals will be examined. According to authorities, individuals who take an antigen test will receive their results instantly, while those who are tested using RT-PCR will have their results within 24 hours.</p>
<p>Covid is already being screened for by the department of health at the airports, train stations, bus stations, and toll gates on highways, among other places.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>People wanting to go to cinemas, museums or sports matches in France have to prove they have had a Covid-19 vaccination or a recent negative test from Wednesday as the country rolls out its controversial vaccine passport system in the face of surging new cases.</p>
<p>The so-called &#8220;health pass&#8221; will be required for all events or places with more than 50 people, before being extended to restaurants, cafes and large shopping centres in August.</p>
<p>The government, which is set to formalise the system with legislation being debated in parliament, is hoping to curb a fourth wave of infections and encourage people to get vaccinated.</p>
<p>Health Minister Olivier Veran warned Tuesday that the more infectious Delta variant was causing an unprecedented increase in new infections, which were up 150 percent over a week at 18,000 in the previous 24 hours.</p>
<p>President Emmanuel Macron met with top ministers on Wednesday to discuss the health crisis, and Prime Minister Jean Castex was due to speak on television afterwards.</p>
