In the last 24 hours, 18,870 new Covid-19 cases were registered, according to the latest data on the health ministry bulletin. On Tuesday, the total was 18,795 people.</p>
<p>The recovery rate now stands at 97.83 percent, the highest since March 2020, with 28,178 patients cured within the same period.</p>
<p>At the time of writing, there were 2,82,520 active cases, accounting for 0.84 percent of the total cases (337,16,451) reported in the country since the epidemic began last year. The number of ongoing cases has also dropped to its lowest level since March 2020.</p>
