Delhi reported 6,500 cases in the past 24 hours following which, the positivity rate dipped to 11 per cent, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Saturday.</p>
<p>The spread of Covid in the city has slowed over the past week, with cases dipping to 8,500 on Friday.</p>
<p>&#8220;The spread of Covid is reducing slowly. We pray it doesn’t increase again. But if it does, we have readied 500 ICU beds more. In the past 15 days, doctors and engineers have set up 1,000 ICU beds,&#8221; the chief minister said.</p>
<p>These beads are being readied in Ramlila Grounds near GTB Hospital and Lok Nayak Hospital.</p>
<p>He also said that the Delhi government is  setting up an oxygen concentrator bank in each district, and it will have 200 concentrators each. These concentrators will be sent to people requiring oxygen support at home within two hours.</p>
<p>“If someone has Covid and is under home isolation, they sometimes can’t get oxygen on time. As a result, their condition worsens and they have to be admitted to the ICU. Therefore, getting oxygen on time is very important. We have started this bank for such patients. There will be 200 concentrators in each bank in each district,” he added.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The number of people who died of Corona virus infection in India has exceeded 2 lakhs.  In the last 24 hours, 3,293 people have died in the country in the midst of continuously deteriorating conditions. <br> A record 3,60,960 new cases were registered in the country on Wednesday.  On Tuesday, the maximum number of 66,358 new cases of infection was confirmed in Maharashtra and 895 patients died.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp; Apart from this, 32,993 new cases were reported in Uttar Pradesh, 32,819 in Kerala, 31,830 in Karnataka and 24,149 new cases and 381 deaths in the capital Delhi.&nbsp; According to the Union Health Ministry, the total number of active cases in India has increased to 29,78,709.&nbsp;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp;This number is 16.34 percent of the total infected cases in the country.&nbsp; So far 14.78 crore vaccine doses have been made in the country.&nbsp; At the same time, the registration process is started for vaccination of people between 18-45 years from today.&nbsp; Those above 18 years of age will be vaccinated from May 1.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp;Following the rapid rise in cases of corona infection in Jammu and Kashmir, a 110-bed covid Care Center has been set up at the Indoor Stadium in Srinagar.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp;Canada has announced a $ 10 million fund in the Canada Red Cross to help with the Corona crisis in India.&nbsp; Canadian International Development Minister Kareena Gold said that the fund will help the Indian Red Cross Society to help it overcome the covid-19 crisis in India.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp;Rajasthan Health Minister Raghu Sharma said that the state needs 7 crore doses to apply vaccine to people aged 18-45 years.&nbsp; He said, &#8220;Our officials talked to the Serum Institute, we booked 3.75 crore doses, then they said that we will not be able to supply the orders that we have received from the Government of India till May 15, so from where will you give them?&nbsp; &#8221;&nbsp; He said that we are in a position to vaccinate 7 lakh people in 1 day, if we apply the vaccine at this speed, then in 1-1.5 months, people of 18-45 years will be able to be vaccinated.&nbsp; There are 125 million people in this category.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp;The number of cases of covid-19 infection in the country has been 1,79,97,267.&nbsp; In which 2,01,187 people have died so far.&nbsp; At the same time 1,48,17,371 people have been cured of the infection.&nbsp; The number of active cases (undergoing treatment) in the country is 29,78,709, which is 16.34 percent of the total cases.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp;So far, a total of 28,27,03,789 sample tests have been done to check the corona virus in India.&nbsp; According to the ICMR, 17,23,912 samples were investigated across the country on Tuesday.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp;A total of 14,78,27,367 vaccines have been dosed in the country so far.&nbsp; According to the Union Health Ministry, 25,56,182 doses were applied across the country on Tuesday.&nbsp; So far, 2,48,97,359 people have received both vaccine doses in India.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp;The vaccine stock at the BKC (Bandra Kurla Complex) Jumbo Vaccination Center in Mumbai has run out, due to which it has not been opened today.&nbsp; BMC said that it will be revived when the stock becomes available.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp;Cases of corona virus infection in Mizoram are increasing rapidly.&nbsp; According to the state government, 229 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.&nbsp; The total number of positive cases is now 5,742, of which 986 are active cases.&nbsp; So far 4,743 people have been cured of the infection in the state and 13 people have died.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp;From May 1, the vaccine will be given to all people above 18 years of age.&nbsp; Registration for the third phase of vaccination is starting from today.&nbsp; Registration is mandatory for people between 18 and 45 years of age to get vaccinated.&nbsp; Click here to know the entire process of registration.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Corona virus infection has been confirmed in five more people at Gujarat-based Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A), with 45 cases involving students, faculty and other staff of the institute in the last two weeks.&nbsp; The institute gave this information on Sunday.<br>&nbsp;He said that Corona virus infection has been confirmed in 45 people of the institute since March 12, of which 44 are isolated.<br>&nbsp;According to the institute, these 44 people include 31 students, a faculty member and 12 other employees.<br>&nbsp;Accordingly, since September 8, 2020, 172 people have been infected.<br>&nbsp;IIM-A saw an increase in cases of infection since a student was found infected in the second week of March.<br>&nbsp;A senior official said that most of the cases encountered in the institute campus are mostly non-symptomatic patients.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Corona cases are seen increasing once again in the country. According to the Union Ministry of Health, the number of latest figures has been 23,285 new cases in the last 24 hours, in which 117 people have been confirmed to have died due to corona infection. The active cases of corona in the country have also started increasing day by day, which is becoming a matter of concern for the whole country. According to the statistics of the Union Health Ministry, a total of 1 crore 13 lakh 8 thousand 846 cases of corona virus have been reported across the country so far. However, out of this, 1 crore 9 lakh 53 thousand 303 people have been cured of corona infection. Corona&#8217;s active cases in India are currently 1 lakh 97 thousand 237. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">According to the report, a total of 1 lakh 58 thousand 306 people have died in the country so far from Corona.The growing cases of corona in the country have reached close to two lakhs. In the last 24 hours, 8011 rising cases of corona have been reported. This has increased the active rate of corona to 1.74%.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"> According to the information, in the last 24 hours, there have been reports of 15,157 people recovering from Corona. This increases the recovery rate to 1.74%. The corona mortality rate has reached 1.40% nationwide. So far, more than 22.49 crore corona investigations have been done in the country. According to data released by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 22,49,98,638 samples have been tested in the country as of March 11, 2021, of which 7,40,345 tests have been done in a day. According to the latest data of the Union Health Ministry, 2 crore 61 lakh 64 thousand 920 people have been vaccinated in the country so far. Out of this, 4,80,740 vaccinations have been done in the last one day.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">According to data released on Wednesday by the Ministry of Health, 17,921 new cases of infection with the corona virus have been reported in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of infections in the country has increased to 1,12,62,707.According to the latest data, 20,652 corona patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, 1,09,20,046 patients in the country have been successful in beating the corona virus so far. Today, the number of patients who have been cured compared to the new corona cases recorded on a daily basis has seen improvement for the second consecutive day after several weeks. A few days ago, the number of patients recovering was higher than in the daily case of corona. But now the situation in the country remains critical due to Corona.</p>
