										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p dir="ltr">The Board of Secondary Education, Assam, (SEBA) has reduced the syllabus of Classes 9 and 10 for the academic session <a href="tel:202122">2021-22</a>. SEBA, considering the constraints students faced by the students with the disruption in educational activities brought about due to extended lockdowns in the country this year as well, has decided to reduce the syllabi of Class 9 and Class 10 for every subject by around 40 per cent.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The board in a statement said: “..it has been noticed that there has been considerable Academic loss and it will be difficult for the students as well as the teachers to cover the course curriculum prescribed by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam for the Academic year <a href="tel:20212022">2021-2022</a>.”</p>
<p dir="ltr">Therefore the Board of Secondary Education, Assam has decided to reduce the Course Curriculum of each and every subject approximately by 40% in comparison with the Academic session 2019 for the convenience of Examination of the students of class IX and X in the academic session <a href="tel:20212022">2021-2022</a>,” it added.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The revised syllabus will be made available on the SEBA website &#8212; <a href="http://sebaonline.org">sebaonline.org</a>.</p>
<p dir="ltr">SEBA, has, however, said that the syllabus is reduced only for the examination purpose for the academic session <a href="tel:202122">2021-22</a> only and teachers can teach the whole course if possible so that students can have adequate knowledge of their entire course content.</p>
<p dir="ltr">In similar lines, the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has also reduced the syllabus for ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) examinations for the year 2022. The CISCE had reduced syllabi for Class 10 and Class 12 subjects which were made available on the official website <a href="http://cisce.org">cisce.org</a>. The decision has been taken considering the difficulties faced by students amid the Coronavirus crisis.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p dir="ltr">Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has extended the last date for schools to register their students for the Matric or Class 10 final exams to be conducted in 2023. Schools can register their students, who are currently studying in Class 9 and appear for the Matric exam in the <a href="tel:202223">2022-23</a> academic year, up to September 12, the board said. Earlier, the last date was August 31.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The official website for registering Class 9 students is <a href="http://secondary.biharboardonline.com">secondary.biharboardonline.com</a></p>
<p dir="ltr">Registration forms are available on the BSEB website. School Principals will have to download the forms, distribute them among the students, collect the filled forms and match the information provided by students with schools&#8217; records. After that, they will submit the information online on the BSEB website.</p>
<p dir="ltr">If students find any error in the filled application forms, they can take printouts of it, make the necessary corrections and submit it along with signatures to the school principals.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked schools to prepare a list of candidates for next year&#8217;s Class 10 and Class 12 board exams and make necessary arrangements to register Class 9 and Class 11 students with the board. The CBSE said it will soon launch a portal for registering students and for uploading lists of candidates. Schools should do advance preparation so that LOC submission and registration of students can be done correctly.</p>
<p>It is desired from the schools to kindly make necessary preparations so that both LOC and registration could be done within schedule provided&#8230;advance preparations made by the schools will help them in submission of LOC and registration correctly,” CBSE’s Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj said in a letter addressed to school principals and head of institutions.</p>
<p>CBSE had to cancel both Class 10 and 12 board exams this year and use alternative policies for publishing results. To avoid such a situation again, 2022 board exams will be held in a new pattern.</p>
<p>CBSE Class 10, Class 12 board exams 2022 will be in two terms and each term will have 50 per cent of the total syllabus.</p>
<p>“This is done to increase the probability of having a board-conducted Classes 10 and 12 examinations at the end of the academic session,” the CBSE had said.</p>
<p>While the term 1 board exam will be conducted between November-December 2021, with a window period of 4-8 weeks, the second term will be held around March-April 2022.</p>
