]]> The Guinness World Records has announced that it has welcomed 23 records created by BTS to its 2022 Hall of Fame. Taking to Twitter, Guinness World Records said, “The boys are in the book Congratulations to @bts_twt who have a spread in the upcoming #GWR2022 book! After breaking countless records throughout 2021, they have also cemented their place in the Guinness World Records Hall of Fame.”

In a statement, Guinness World Records wrote, “BTS have collected a jaw-dropping 23 Guinness World Records titles across music and social media – an amazing result achieved also thanks to the enthusiasm of their fans, the ARMY. Today, they are the most streamed group on Spotify (beating the British band Coldplay) and the most followed music group on Instagram.”

Their May 2021 release, Butter, single-handedly snatched five records, among which we find most viewers for the premiere of a music video on YouTube (previously held by BTS’ success Dynamite) and most streamed track on Spotify in the first 24 hours.

Listing their records, Guinness World Records added that BTS has the record for the most-viewed YouTube video in 24 hours by a K-pop group. The group also holds the record for the fastest time to reach one million followers on TikTok (their current count is 40M followers). They also have the record for the most tickets sold for a live-streamed concert (756,000) and the most-viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours (Butter).

]]> The South Korean band BTS extended their reign on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with “Butter”, remaining at the summit for seventh consecutive weeks.

The band comprising of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have been creating history with their songs.

Similarly, ‘Butter’ song is also number 10 on the Pop Airplay chart, their second song so far to enter the top 10. This makes them the first Korean act to have multiple entries in the top 10 of the Pop Airplay chart. As soon as the news came not just Suga but also J-Hope took to Twitter and shared their reactions.

BTS member Suga logged into Weverse and shared his reaction as he wrote, “Eh ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah a ah a ah ah ah ahk you mean seven weeks?” he wrote. Not only this but he even shared a selfie thanking fans and wrote, ” “Thank you ARMY!”

Meanwhile, J-Hope shared a selfie on Weverse and wrote, “7…. ARMY is the best …”

The septet recently released their CD single “Butter” that includes the brand new track “Permission to dance”. The song sends the message that you don’t need permission to dance, prompting listeners to get up on their feet and dance again.

BTS are known for the way they interact with their fans and also their authentic music. Its band members are RM, Jin, Suga,J-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook.

BTS are slated to appear on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” for two nights on July 13 and 14, where the US television premiere of “Permission to dance” is scheduled to happen.

According to MRC data, “Butter” amassed 28.3 million radio airplay audience impressions, up by two per cent, to dominate the music scene with their longest reigning number one song to date.

The Grammy nominated band is expected to release their new single “Permission to dance” that will be included in the CD single “Butter”, scheduled to be out on Friday.

Ed Sheeran as well as Steve Mac, Jenna Andrews and Johnny McDaid have participated in the making of this song.

BTS, comprising J-Hope, RM, Suga, Jungkook, V, Jin and Jimin, have been capturing the hearts of millions since June 2013, having gained recognition for their authentic and self-produced music. They have broken a number of world records and have been nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 63rd Grammy Awards and recognised with Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards and MTV Video Music Awards.

]]> The band BTS has launched their new song on YouTube and it has already broken records. It recorded the fastest 10- million views in just 13 minutes after the premiere. It broke its own record of the song ‘Dynamite’ that managed to do  the same in just 21 minutes. The song is titled ‘Butter’ and has become the fastest video in the history of YouTube to cross 10 million views. The video crossed 53 million views in the first seven hours of the premiere, and 5.4 million YouTube users liked it. Their earlier song ‘Dynamite’ was their first song which was premiered entirely in English. It was the biggest 24-hour debut on YouTube with over 101.1 million views

A content distribution and management platform, Popbase released the numbers, however YouTube will release the numbers in a few days. The K-pop band released the official teaser of the song on Tuesday which was also a hit. It received 1 million likes within 45 minutes of the teaser launch. After popbase released the numbers, fans shared their excitement through sharing various tweets.
