Zarine is survived by her husband Sanjay Khan and their four children, daughters Farah Ali Khan, Simone Arora, Sussanne Khan, and son Zayed Khan.
Before her marriage, Zarine worked as a model during the 1960s and appeared in popular Hindi films such as Tere Ghar Ke Saamne released in 1963 and Ek Phool Do Mali in 1969. She married Sanjay Khan in 1966 and remained an integral part of the film fraternity and Mumbai’s social circles throughout her life.
Her passing marks the end of an era for the Khan family, who have long been connected to the Hindi film industry.

She also shared an update about the filming of ‘Aarya’ during the live session, “I am dying to tell you about Aarya. The last schedule is left for Aarya, and it is not very long. So it should be done very very soon. The amount of love and appreciation you have given Aarya, when we come back you have to love season 2. For all good things, one has to wait.”
Sushmita had bagged the title ‘Best Actor in drama series’ at eminent award shows like Filmfare, Dada Saheb Phalke, Film Critics Guild, Raj Kapoor Award for Aarya. Talking about the show, “It took me a decade to find a role like this to sink into and I’m thrilled to be a part of this incredible story. I am thankful to Ram Madhvani and his team for giving me the role of a lifetime.” The show, by “Neerja” fame filmmaker Ram Madhvani, also starred Chandrachur Singh as Aarya’s husband, who is involved in an illegal narcotics business.

A few days back, a report by Bollywood Hungama claimed that Kareena increased her fee for a period drama in which she was offered Sita’s role. The report stated that Alaukik Desai’s film is about re-telling epic Ramayan from Sita’s point of view and Kareena Kapoor is the first choice of the filmmaker.
Quoting a source, the report mentions that although Bebo charges somewhere around Rs 6 to 8 crore, for this period drama, she charged a whopping 12 crore. However, this is because the movie demands at least 8 to 10 months of prep work and shooting.
