The post Tiger Shroff shares answer for trolls appeared first on The Edge Media.
]]>As the theme of the show was to address some of the trolls and mean comments on social media about the celebrity guest, Tiger read out comments in which mostly he is bullied for the way he looks and on his acting skills.
To answer all his trolls, Tiger said, “I know from the time my first film was released people said ‘ye ladka hai ya ladki’, people commented on my face and said I look like a girl. And then they see my body! A section of people loves me for my action scenes etc. As long as love is coming in for me from my fans, I am ok. I have decided to make my own space in Bollywood, I have chosen a separate path for myself. When you try and create something of your own, there are hurdles but I take it on.”
He also said, “when it comes to trolling, it is at times scary how a nameless, faceless individual could say anything about anybody without getting caught!”
One of his trolls made a comment that Tiger read out, “Are you virgin?” to which the actor quipped, “I am a virgin like Salman (Khan) bhai!”
The episode of Arbaaz Khan’s ‘Pinch Season 2’ releases on August 3.

]]>Assuring his fans that he is returning to thrill them, Akshay wrote on Twitter, “Mission: To Entertain you on the BIG SCREEN Date: August 19, 2021, Announcing the arrival of #BellBottom! #BellBottomInCinemasAug19.” The short video clip shared along with the release date announcement also claims that the espionage thriller is ‘inspired by true events’, and shows Akshay as a RAW Agent and the entire cast of the film walking against the backdrop of an aircraft.

Bell Bottom was originally supposed to release on the silver screens on May 28 but it got postponed due to the second wave of coronavirus. Then, the makers zeroed in on July 27, but since many states didn’t ease the restrictions on the opening of cinema halls, they once again pushed the date to August 19.
Earlier, there were speculations around the direct-to-OTT release of the spy thriller, but Vashu Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment released a statement and dismissed all the rumours. Akshay Kumar also shared the teaser of the film, which was shot in the UK, amid heightened COVID-19 safety measures.
Bell Bottom is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh of Pooja Entertainment, in association with Emmay Entertainment’s Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani.

]]>The post Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan resumes shooting for Tiger 3 appeared first on The Edge Media.
]]>The shooting is taking place at the YRF Studios in Mumbai.
“The new schedule of Tiger 3 has started today in Yash Raj Films Studios. It is a closely guarded set and one can expect no picture to leak from here. Salman and Katrina’s fitness will be tested in this schedule as well as the extensive overseas schedule that is set to start from mid-August,” a source said.
The source added, “Salman teased his physique in Tiger 3 on his social media and it is evident that he is building the best body that he has ever showcased on screen. Katrina, on the other hand, has been keeping an extremely low profile with hardly any revelation of how good she is looking currently. There’s a reason for this also. She has worked like a beast to be her fittest best and people will have to wait to see her fittest best on-screen when Tiger 3 is set to release.”
Looks like Salman Khan and Katrina are set for some breath-taking action sequences.
“It will be intense for these two actors because director Maneesh Sharma has planned some jaw-dropping and hugely risky action sequences that will truly test their overall fitness levels when they start their overseas schedule. Of course, Salman and Katrina are game for it and ready for any challenges to be thrown at them. It will be a fun schedule,” the source further said, teasing what’s in store for the movie buffs.
For the unversed, Tiger 3 is the third film in the successful Ek Tha Tiger franchise. Actor Emraan Hashmi will play the role of a villain in the upcoming movie. A few days ago, he had also shared a picture of his chiselled physique, hinting that it’s his new look for Tiger 3.

]]>The post Ayushmann Khurrana shares his first look as Doctor G appeared first on The Edge Media.
]]>

He is currently in Bhopal to shoot for the Junglee Pictures-backed project. “The subject of ‘Doctor G’ is very close to me.
Considering the lockdown restrictions, we all have been waiting to start shooting the film and we are glad that the day has finally arrived. It’s an honour to portray a doctor on screen for the first time,” Khurrana said in a statement.
The 36-year-old Chandigarh-born actor said the film will allow him to relive “memories of being a student and living the hostel life.”
Sharing the first look from the film, Ayushmann wrote, “Doctor G taiyyar ho kar nikle hain. Ab hogi shooting! #DoctorGFirstLook.” Dressed in a lab coat, a pair of black-rimmed glasses and a stethoscope, Ayushmann looks goofy.
This marks Ayushmann’s third collaboration with Junglee Pictures, after ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ (2017) and ‘Badhaai Ho’ (2018). Apart from ‘Doctor G’, Ayushmann has several upcoming projects in his kitty including ‘Anek’ and ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’. He was last seen in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Gulabo Sitabo’, alongside Amitabh Bachchan.

]]>The post Amitabh Bachchan to recite a poem written by Rumi for his upcoming film. appeared first on The Edge Media.
]]>In the past, the megastar brought to life the poetry of Sahir Ludhiyanvi and Javed Akhtar in classics like ‘Kabhi Kabhie’ and ‘Silsila’. Now, he will be reciting a poem written by Rumi for their upcoming film.
In April this year, composers Vishal-Shekhar had recorded the orchestral rendition of the title track with 107 musicians in Prague.
Anand Pandit said,” Shekhar Ravjiani has composed the tune beautifully. And now Amit ji will lend his matchless voice and add another dimension altogether to the track. He is a perfectionist and everything he does, be it a small movement before the camera, an action sequence, a close-up, a song he has to hum, or just be silent, he gives the moment his all. And I am looking forward to seeing how he delivers the poem because it is going to be a once in a lifetime experience.”
He also praised the music and added, “The film’s theme, its suspense and mysterious elements all come together wonderfully in the score and now Amit ji will add his own magic to it.”
It is the first time that Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi will be seen sharing the screen.

]]>There was a big section of people, like a wave, who trolled celebs. It became trendy to go after celebs because of the kind of brainwashing that happened due to certain media channels. It was a pandemic in its own way. It was fashionable to go after celebs, who are achievers or even ones who aren’t doing much- it was all so disturbing. Some handled it graceful, some lashed out, others were upset and some ignored it. It was unfortunate and taught us a lot, says the actor, who feels sometimes certain things happen to teach us a lesson.
“Last year, taught us the magnitude of social media and how it affects lives. It is no more about posting fun pics, about dining or travel. We are all accountable for whatever we do online. There is a sense of responsibility as well,” shares Khan.

]]>After sharing screen space briefly in the opening sequence of SRK’s 2012 film ‘Ra.One‘, and shaking a leg together in the title track of the 2007 film, ‘Om Shanti Om’, the two stars will come together for the film which is tentatively titled as ‘Rakhee’. If sources are to be believed, the actors are currently shooting for the film, bankrolled by Viacom 18, in Mumbai.
SRK and Sanjay share a great rapport off-screen but the audience has never seen them together on the big screen. So, the project is surely a treat for their fans.
