										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has started compliance on its 2017 notice to demolish a part of Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan&#8217;s &#8216;Prateeksha Bungalow&#8217; for road widening. The BMC has given a notice to Bachchan&#8217;s family for road widening that a portion of their bungalow plot will be acquired for the widening of the Sant Dnyaneshwar Marg road. The BMC has also instructed Mumbai Suburban Collector City survey officials to demarcate the exact portion of the bungalow required for the road-widening project.</p>
<p>Sant Dnyaneshwar Marg connects Chandan Cinema area to Link Road towards Iskcon temple.</p>
<p>Advocate Tulip Brian Miranda, Municipal Councillor, while speaking to ANI, asked why the BMC&#8217;s work had been completed for all other houses except around the Bollywood actor&#8217;s, and said that the key project had been stalled.</p>
<p>&#8220;The BMC had given notice to actor Amitabh Bachchan in 2017 about this situation under the road winding policy. The wall of the plot adjoining Bachchan&#8217;s bungalow was taken and drainage has been created. But Bachchan&#8217;s house has been left untouched,&#8221; Miranda said.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">BMC has submitted a 16-page written affidavit before the court.  That affidavit detailed how Sonu Sood consistently ignored BMC&#8217;s notice and how he was active in illegal construction work.<br>      In the case of illegal construction, the son of BMC, who came under the target of BMC, is not taking the name of the problem.  On behalf of BMC, it has been argued in the Bombay High Court that the actors have been continuously breaking the rules in the case of illegal construction.  Sonu has been continuously involved in illegal construction in the eyes of BMC.  At the same time, all the allegations of Sonu from BMC have also been described as a strategy.<br>      BMC has submitted a 16-page written affidavit before the court.  That affidavit detailed how Sonu Sood consistently ignored BMC&#8217;s notice and how he was active in illegal construction work.  It has been written- Sonu Sood is appealing to save a hotel which is against MRTP, MMC Act.  At the same time, he has not even taken any kind of license.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It has also been alleged that Sonu wants to earn money through this illegal construction.  For this reason, he did not think it necessary to take a license and converted a residential building into a hotel.  It is known that BMC is eyeing the 6-storey building in Juhu, which has been claimed that Sonu converted it into a hotel.  It has been said that the actor had not taken any permission before converting the residential building into a hotel.  At the same time, reports have also come to light where it has been said that a notice was sent to Sonu from BMC, but they ignored him.  He still continued construction of that building. BMC has told that this whole controversy started only in January last year when the Lokayukta complained.  At that time, it was said by the Lokayukta why action should not be taken against the BMC for not carrying out the responsibility properly.  After that rebuke, BMC took stock of the building and issued a notice to Sonu in October.<br>     Now on the basis of this argument, BMC wants that Sonu Sood should not be given any kind of relief.  At the same time, there is a demand to take strong action against him.  In this case, a big order can come out from the court on Wednesday.  It will be clear whether Sonu Sood is given relief or the action of BMC is justified.</p>
