<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The concern of the world fighting Corona infection may increase.  Russia said on Saturday that its scientists have detected transmission of bird flu H5N8 strain to humans.  This is the first time this strain of bird flu has been found in humans.  After this, the World Health Organization has been alerted.  The Russian health official said, &#8220;Information about bird flu (H5N8) infection reaching humans has been reported to the World Health Organization.&#8221;<br> This strain of bird flu is highly contagious and is fatal for birds, but it was never spread in humans before.  The head of Russia&#8217;s health monitoring department, Anna Popova, said that its scientists have isolated the genetic material of the strain from seven employees of a poultry farm in the Vector Lab.  Bird flu spread in December here.<br> He also said that there was no serious impact on the health of these employees, mild symptoms were found in them and have recovered.  Popova called the discovery important, saying that this time will tell if the virus can mutate.  Popova said, &#8220;The discovery of this mutation is important at a time when the virus has not yet had the potential for human-to-human infection, giving us and the entire world time to prepare against potential mutations.&#8221;<br> According to the WHO website, human infections with the A (H5) virus are rare and are often found in people who are in contact with sick or dead infected birds.  It can also cause serious illness or death in humans.  Between 2014 and November 2016, 16 cases of avian flu H5N6 have been reported, of which 6 died.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Giriraj Singh said on Monday that there is no scientific report about the infection of bird flu to humans.  In such a situation, states should not ban mandis or ban the sale of poultry products.  His statement came after Delhi government imposed a ban on supplies from outside processed and packaged chicken.<br>    In fact, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that the supply of processed and packaged chicken from outside has been banned in Delhi.  He also said that it is common influenza which can spread to birds, animals or humans but bird flu does not spread from humans to humans.  It can spread to humans only through contact with infected birds.<br>    He said that those who eat chicken and egg, if they eat fully cooked chicken or boiled egg, they will not get infection.  He said that the state government is taking all precautionary steps and the government is doing its best to prevent it from spreading, in such a situation there is no need to panic.<br>  The district administration has decided to kill and bury 8,000 to 10,000 birds in the village after the death of 900 chickens from bird flu in Muramba village of Parbhani in Maharashtra.  District Collector Deepak Mughalikar said that bird flu is the cause of death of chickens.  After this, a decision has been taken to kill the birds within one kilometer radius of the village.  Also, 10 km area has been declared as restricted zone.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Birds will not be brought here from any other place nor will they be taken anywhere else.  A medical team has also been deployed which will examine the villagers.  At the same time, the number of birds died in Kendrebadi village of Latur district of the state is 225.  Samples of some of these birds have been sent for investigation and reports are awaited.</p>

After the birds of the domestic poultry farm become infected, the chances of spreading it among humans increases greatly.  This disease can also spread to humans through secretions from birds&#8217; feces, saliva, nose-mouth or eyes.<br>   Cleanliness &#8211; Clean the tanks, railings or pijars placed on the roof with detergent.  Carefully clean feathers or waste spread on bird feces or related places  Do not clothe birds with open arms, keep a certain distance from them.  A bird infected with H5N1 can release the virus through feces or saliva for about 10 days.<br>   Raw meat &#8211; do not touch the surface &#8211; after buying chicken from the shop, while washing it, definitely wear gloves on hands and mouth.  Raw meat or egg can also infect a human being.  You can also get vulnerable to the virus through a corrupted surface.  So avoid touching anything or surface on poultry farms or shops.  After touching anything, immediately sanitize the hands.<br> Cook the chicken at a temperature of around 100 degrees Celsius.  Do not make the mistake of eating raw meat or egg.  According to health experts, this virus is sensitive to heat and is destroyed in cooking temperature.  Raw meat or eggs should be kept separate from other food items.<br> Keep these things in mind as well &#8211; stay away from the people working in the poultry farm and avoid going to the affected areas.  Do not go close to healthcare workers.  Keep a certain distance from any infected person in the house.  Avoid going to the open air market and take special care of things like hygiene-handwash.</p>
