The suvival of the people have been very much difficult and many people have lost their lives. The virus has spread all over the world and has caused severe damage to each and every field including the public as well as private sector. The banks have also faced a major loss due to the virus. Various employees have lost their lives due to this.</p>
<p>A news was published by Inshorts which stated the record of deaths in the banking sector. The news stated that the general secretary of the All India Bank Officers&#8217; Association S Nagarajan said that he&#8217;s already lost over 1000 colleagues due to the Covid-19 pandemic in the country. He told the Bloomberg news,&#8221;Bank employees are frontline workers and the virus is affecting them&#8221;. Earlier the Finance Ministry had requested the states and union territories to vaccinate banks employees&#8217; and insurance companies on priority.</p>
