<p>According to sources, the missile flew for 150 kilometers using an indigenous cruise engine. More tests will be carried out in the near future.</p>
<p>On July 23, an indigenously produced New Generation Akash Missile (Akash-NG), a Surface to Air Missile defense system, was successfully test-fired at Balasore. The 30km strike-range air defense missile systems were tested for the second time in two days.</p>

Ranjit Pradhan, the Balasore district in charge of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, the BJP&#8217;s youth wing, was traveling to his in-laws&#8217; house in Nuasahi village when he was lured into an incident with three young men on motorbikes near Kusumpur Chhak in the Kaptipada police station area.</p>
<p>The three suspects, according to the police officer, were well-built and soon subdued Pradhan and showered attacks on him. According to the post-mortem report, “the persistent thrashing caused internal bleeding in his brain, chest, and other vital organs.”</p>
