Prince Philip, The husband of Queen Elizabeth II, died at the age of 99. The Roy Family said in a statement that it is to be informed with deep sorrow that the Queen’s husband – Duke of Edinburgh has passed away. He breathed his last at Windsor Castle this morning.
June 10 would have been Prince Philip’s 100th birthday. He was born on 10 June 1921 on the Greek island of Corfu.
In the month of February, he was admitted to the hospital for treatment and was treated for infection and cardiovascular disease. Later in the month of March, Elizabeth II’s husband was discharged from the hospital.
