The NCB, or Narcotics Control Bureau, investigating the drugs angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, filed a 12,000-page chargesheet in the Special NDPS Court on Friday. In this charge sheet, 33 people have been accused, including actress Riya Chakraborty. Also 200 people have been made witnesses. The NCB had six months to file a chargesheet on the basis of the first arrest made in September. In August, the NCB registered a drug investigation in a private WhatsApp chat between Riya Chakraborty, her brother Shovik Chakraborty and some employees of Sushant Singh Rajput in an investigation conducted by the ED or the Enforcement Directorate in the Sushant Singh death case. Then the investigation was started with the drugs angle in this case. In its 6-month investigation, the agency raided several locations in Maharashtra and uncovered an ongoing drugs racket in the city and within Bollywood. NCB director Sameer Wankhede has filed a chargesheet in the NDPS court. The NCB chargesheet named 33 people, one of whom is Riya. At the same time, the names of 200 witnesses are there. The charge sheet contains more than 12 thousand pages, while there are around 50 thousand digital pages. After this, the NCB started a thorough investigation, with the arrest of the drug peddlers, the names of several celebrities who were called by the NCB from time to time for questioning include Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and Sara Ali Khan are included.
