The Mumbai Police has arrested the man who threatened to kill Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Mumbai Police has arrested a person named Santosh Kadam from Nanded. Santosh Kadam had sent a threatening letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on 5 October. The Union Home Ministry later shared this information with the Mumbai Police. The Mumbai Police had registered a case in this case on 15 October and the accused person from Nanded was arrested on Saturday.

In the threatening letter, accused Santosh Kadam had said that he is an activist of the opposition party. The way the Chief Minister is forcing the surrender of anti-CM parties by showing fear of ED and CBI is wrong.

Apart from this, Santosh Kadam wrote in the letter that the economy of the country has become weak due to BJP. The accused left his name, address and phone number in this letter. After which the police arrested this accused and started investigating. Mumbai Police is trying to find out whether there is any other reason behind this threatening letter, other than why has he written?
