BJP MP from Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh and former state president Nand Kumar Singh died on Monday night due to corona infection. He was undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital in Delhi. The BJP MP was first admitted to a hospital in Bhopal on January 11 after being found corona positive. But he was shifted to Medanta Hospital in Delhi after the condition became critical. The Prime Minister tweeted and paid tribute to Mr. Singh on his death. The Prime Minister wrote, ‘I am saddened by the demise of the Lok Sabha MP from Khandwa. His contribution in the proceedings of Parliament and efforts made for the empowerment of the party in the state will be remembered. Condolences to his family. State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, expressing grief over the demise of the MP tweeted, ‘Nandu Bhaiya’s departure is a personal loss for me. Nandu Bhaiya made his best contribution as state president. Nandu Bhaiya’s body will reach her home village today. Tomorrow we will all bid them farewell. I pay my respects at his feet. ‘
