Authorities Advise Against Stepping Out
For years, Khan has maintained a tradition of waving to his fans from the balcony of his iconic sea-facing home, Mannat, located in Bandra. However, this year he announced on ‘X’ that he would not be able to continue the ritual. He explained that officials had instructed him to remain indoors to ensure the safety of everyone gathered outside. Khan conveyed his deep regret and mentioned that he would miss seeing his fans even more than they would miss him.
Fans Gather Despite the Weather
Thousands of admirers from across the world assembled outside Mannat, carrying placards, flowers, and wearing T-shirts featuring the actor’s image. Despite the rain, many waited for hours, some even climbing trees to get a glimpse of their favorite star. The excitement and devotion among fans remained as strong as ever
Police Deployed for Crowd Management
To ensure order and public safety, Mumbai Police were stationed around the actor’s residence. Reports indicated that fans had begun arriving early in the morning, leading to significant gatherings near the property.
Mannat Under Renovation but Tradition Expected
Although renovation work is currently underway at Mannat, many fans had anticipated that Khan would continue his long-standing tradition of greeting them from his balcony. His message of apology, however, reflected both responsibility and affection toward his followers
