Sunil Gavaskar, the legendary cricketer, did not mince words when speaking about India’s humiliating loss to Pakistan in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021 in Dubai. During the post-match show on Star Sports, Gavaskar described the 10-wicket loss as an “awful pounding.”

Pakistan dominated the game, chasing down the target with more than 13 balls remaining. Gavaskar was not pleased with the setback, saying, “The loss is an absolute hammering as far as India is concerned.” Despite the defeat, Gavaskar stated that the competition had only just begun and that India needed to regroup and prepare for the remaining matches.
