Indians with work visas in the United States (US) will soon be able to skip the green card backlog by paying an additional charge (sometimes known as a superfee) and obtaining permanent visas or green cards.
Legal dreamers (children of H-1B holders who have reached the age of 21 or are about to reach the age of 21) will also be eligible for permanent residency and citizenship, according to the Times of India, which cited a section of the Reconciliation Bill released by the US House Judiciary Committee, which oversees immigration.
