Naseeruddin Shah is expected to discharge on Friday

Veteran Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah’s secretary has officially declared that is expected to be discharged on Friday. The actor is undergoing treatment for pneumonia at a hospital in Mumbai.

The 70-years old actor is currently admitted at  Khar-based PD Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre, a non-Covid-19 facility, on Tuesday. In an interview with PTI, the actor’s secretary Jairaj quoted, “He is doing well. He might be discharged tomorrow,”  PTI further informed that the actor’s wife and veteran actor Ratna Pathak Shah told PTI that he had a “small patch” of pneumonia in his lungs and was undergoing treatment for the same.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor is working for 46 years in the industry. He has contributed a lot in parallel as well as in the commercial cinema. The multiple National Award-winning actor was last seen in the 2020 feature drama Mee Raqsam and the acclaimed Amazon Prime Video series Bandish Bandits.
