In the background of the Coronavirus disease pandemic (COVID19), 12th tests have been cancelled this year. This is why, for the first time in this year, a Common Entrance Test (CET) may be performed to admit the Bachelor of Arts (BA), BCom and BSc (Bachelor of Science) classes, indicated by Minister of State for Higher Education, Uday Samant.

Today he spoke to journalists at Pune University of Engineering (COEP). The Minister also stated that the CET would be held towards the end of July or the first week of August for the admission to technical courses.
